Winter Snaps will return in the winter of 2008.

Winter Snaps is the photo competition that everyone can enter. You don't need to be a seasoned professional to take part, and we don't mind whether your pictures are taken on a mobile phone, a compact camera or a high-end SLR. All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is to take a photo that captures the spirit of winter and upload it for visitors to vote on. You can upload up to five photos in total.

The photo with the most votes will win a stylish Sony VGX-TP1E wireless living room PC, capable of storing, streaming and sharing all your photos, movies and music. And if that's not enough to get your finger on the shutter, we'll even throw in a 40" Sony Bravia HDTV.

Ten runners up will each receive a copy of Windows Vista Home Premium, worth £219.99. It's the perfect package for entertainment, productivity and storing, editing and sharing your photos.
